Abstract Submission Guidelines

Please read carefully before submitting your abstract to AIBBC 2025:


1. Template & Length

a) Download and use the official template:
AIBBC 2025 Abstract Template (DOC)

b) Abstracts are limited to two pages. Submissions longer than two pages will be rejected.


2. Content Requirements

a) Include experimental or computational data to support your scientific claims.

b) Your abstract must present original research—all submissions will be screened for plagiarism.

c) Students should list a PI/advisor/supervisor as co-author. If your supervisor wishes to be exempt, they must email AIBBC in advance.


3. Review & Awards

a) All abstracts (except invited speakers’) will be peer-reviewed.

b) Outstanding abstracts by students and early-career investigators will be nominated for the AIBBC Outstanding Abstract Award, with travel support subject to fund availability.

c) Deadline: Only abstracts submitted by the deadline will qualify; late submissions are automatically disqualified.

 

Participant Registration & Workshop Instructions

1. Workshop Course Selection

a) Upon registering, you’ll be asked to select at least three workshop courses of interest.

b) Slots are limited and allocated first-come, first-served—selection does not guarantee placement.

2. Travel & Accommodation

a) Due to limited resources, participants are strongly encouraged to arrange their own travel.

b) A limited number of AIBBC Travel Awards are available for highly deserving applicants—complete the motivation letter in the registration form to apply.

3. General Registration Notes

a) Please register early to secure your spot in workshops and sessions.

October 31st Closing ceremony (Conference banquet)
November 1st Post-conference biodiversity tour
